Created by local ladies from Nettlestead, Somersham, Willisham, Offton and Battisford. Fourteen ladies offered Pam Shephard their support and they met up weekly across an 18-month period. The ladies all had sewing and craft skills, and helped create 1,575 paper and fabric hexagons, which were delicately sewn together to form a stunning and colourful kingsize bed quilt. Pam says, “I was so delighted with the support from local ladies who offered their time to help create the quilt, which has now been finished.”  This was a chance to win a wonderful heirloom quilt, a labour of love!
