A social gathering for all villagers living and working here, and businesses based locally. Everybody is welcome - 4pm to 7pm, drop in or stay for the whole time! - please see the menu if you want to book supper as well! 
The December GET TOGETHER was fun and a great success, lots of people met for the first time or for the first time in ages! Others were new the area and found out a lot about village life, and everyone shared much regarding table tennis, roadworks and sourdough bread!
Last time, our district councillor, trustees of village charities, and both current and past parish councillors came along. There were lots of local volunteers, especially from the Community Shop and everyone got to meet Claire & Matt Rees, now running The Duke of Marlborough - our community-owned pub!
Those new to the village, please come along! Everybody interested in the VILLAGE BOOK..... young & old, all are very welcome! Are you keen on becoming newly involved and supporting our great village organisations? - thus helping form the future for our village, please feel particularly welcome.

Also former parish councillors and clerks, and all volunteers who have dedicated time to enhancing village life in the past. 

We particularly invite everyone who volunteers and makes things happen - for example: committee members, parish councillors, trustees; with our churches, the community association, community shop volunteers, the link, gardening club and greening somersham members, the village school and FOSS, current and former football, cycle speedway and tennis club members, and all users of the playing field, village creative, youth and toddler clubs, and other volunteers are all very welcome and encouraged to come along. 

All those who dedicate energy & time to enhancing our village life today, in the past - and into the future!

This isn't a meeting it's a GET TOGETHER! - an idea welcomed by lots of individuals, families and groups, as well as Somersham Parish Council, Somersham & District Community Association, Community Shop volunteers and the team at the Duke of Marlborough pub.
