  • Duke Acoustic Night, hosted by Jess Simmons - Suffolk-based singer-songwriter

    Sunday 28th June 2026 7:00pm

Acoustic Night at the Duke of Marlborough Welcome to our June acoustic night!! Bring your favourite instrument and join in. Performed in and around the table, buskers format. All musicians and singers welcome. Very many talented people turn up, and enjoy a lovely atmosphere, like buskers’ evenings of old.
Lovely to see so many happy people enjoying themselves and the ambience of our lovely, dear community-owned pub!
There’s a warm welcome waiting for accordions, banjos, double basses, fiddles, guitars, harmonicas, percussion, ukuleles, and a plethora of other instruments - not to mention plenty of a cappella and other singing. Everyone, from beginners to experienced musicians and singers, is welcome! ……it’s amazing to think that there’s probably been music and singing in our village pub for over 500 years!
